Veterinary Technician Radiation Oncology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Technician to join our Radiation Oncology team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the advancement of the animal health profession.
Responsibilities- Oversee appointments and manage client interactions throughout their visit.
- Collaborate with DVMs in patient assessment, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
- Obtain and process laboratory samples, including blood, urine, free fluid, and fine needle aspirates.
- Utilize various imaging modalities for patient and procedural assessment.
- Execute, monitor, and recover assigned sedation and anesthetic events.
- Provide empathy, comfort, and exceptional nursing care to all patients, serving as a strong patient advocate during hospitalization.
- Maintain equipment on a per-use basis to ensure patient safety and best practice care.
- Communicate and educate clients on various oncology disease processes.
- Previous experience in radiation oncology is preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of progressive veterinary hospital experience is required.
- Experienced VA or RVT is preferred.
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commit to developing long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and the community is required.
- Positive outlook and ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills are required, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.
