Veterinary Radiation Oncology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Technician to join our Radiation Oncology team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and working closely with our veterinarians to deliver high-quality treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee appointments and manage client relationships throughout the treatment process.
- Participate in patient assessment, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures under the guidance of our veterinarians.
- Process laboratory samples, including blood, urine, and fine needle aspirates.
- Utilize imaging modalities for patient and procedural assessment.
- Execute, monitor, and recover sedation and anesthetic events.
- Provide empathetic and compassionate care to patients, advocating for their needs throughout their hospitalization.
- Maintain equipment and ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing education on oncology disease processes.
- Previous experience in radiation oncology is preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a progressive veterinary hospital.
- Experience as a Veterinary Assistant or Registered Veterinary Technician is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively and develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and the community.
