About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Audit Associate to join our dynamic and fast-growing finance team. This position plays a pivotal role in our organization by providing assurance to our stakeholders about the accuracy of our financial statements and the effectiveness of our internal controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute audit engagements for public companies in accordance with PCAOB standards and SEC regulations.
  • Assess and manage risks associated with financial reporting and internal controls.
  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor junior audit staff.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their business processes, identify potential areas of risk, and recommend appropriate controls.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams within the organization to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial information.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in US GAAP, IFRS, PCAOB standards, and SEC regulations.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, preferably within the finance industry.
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with PCAOB, SEC, GAAP, Risk Assessment, IFRS, and US GAAP.
  • Proven experience in leading audit engagements and supervising junior staff.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and regulatory bodies.
  • A high level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to upholding the company's values and ethical standards.
  • Proficiency in using audit software and other financial systems.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
  • A willingness to stay updated with the latest developments in the field of auditing and financial reporting.
