About the Role:
Barton Associates is seeking a skilled neurosurgical assistant to fill a locum tenens position in a hospital setting. This opportunity offers a chance to provide specialized care for adult and pediatric patients on a night shift schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct rounds and consultations for neurosurgical patients
- Perform neurological assessments on adult and pediatric patients
- Carry out bedside procedures, including drain management and lumbar punctures
- Assist with reprogramming and reevaluation of neurosurgical devices
- Collaborate with attending physicians
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with both adult and pediatric neurosurgical patients and possess proficiency in performing various bedside procedures.
