Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients' functional status and develop personalized treatment plans to improve their independence and quality of life.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' homes to identify potential hazards and barriers to independent living, and provide recommendations for modifications and equipment needs.
  • Develop and implement treatment programs to improve patients' functional abilities, including teaching new skills and retraining patients in daily activities.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records, as required by organization policy.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Florida.
  • Two years of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
