Water Resources Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our team at Commonwealth Engineers, Inc. in our Huntingburg, Indiana office.
The ideal candidate will have experience in all phases of water/wastewater engineering, including conceptual and feasibility evaluations, design reports, contract documents, bidding assistance, and construction engineering services.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop municipal water/wastewater treatment processes, including conceptual and feasibility evaluations
- Prepare design reports and contract documents for water/wastewater treatment projects
- Assist with bidding and construction engineering services for water/wastewater treatment projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure in the state of Indiana or Kentucky
- Experience with treatment plant modeling software such as GPS-X and Visual Hydraulics
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation:
Base salary ranges for this position are as follows:
- P.E. licensure 5-10 years: $110,000 to $120,000
- P.E. licensure 10-15 years: $120,000 to $130,000
- P.E. licensure 15-20 years: $130,000 to $150,000
- P.E. licensure 20+ years: $150,000 to $180,000
