Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Full-Time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with a focus on early childhood to join our team at Soliant.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Speech and Language Screenings: Under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), conduct speech and language screenings to assess the communication skills of young children.
  • Implement Therapeutic Activities: Implement therapeutic activities and interventions based on treatment plans developed by the SLP to support the speech and language development of young children.
  • Collaborate with Educators and Parents: Collaborate with teachers and parents to support speech and language goals in classroom and home environments.
  • Document Progress: Document student progress and maintain accurate records as required by regulations.
  • Participate in Team Meetings: Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
  • Licensure: Arizona state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
  • Experience: Experience working with young children, particularly in early childhood or educational settings.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of speech and language disorders and therapy techniques, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to collaborate effectively with team members and families.
