Position Overview

This role involves engaging with potential and existing owners at our resort locations. You will be responsible for scheduling guests to meet with representatives for informative presentations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a professional brand ambassador for Wyndham Destinations.
  • Collaborate with resort staff to obtain guest arrival information.
  • Welcome and motivate prospective customers to participate in a sales-preview tour.
  • Assess and qualify potential customers in accordance with company standards.
  • Facilitate sales-tour bookings and manage necessary deposits.
Additional responsibilities include:
  • Engaging and encouraging prospective customers to attend a sales presentation while adhering to company policies and performance standards (80% of the time).
  • Participating in scheduled training sessions and departmental meetings, staying updated on marketing materials and industry trends, and reviewing performance goals regularly (20% of the time).
Travel Requirements

No travel is required beyond the local area of the home site.

Qualifications

While sales and/or marketing experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. Candidates must meet production standards.

Education
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Training
  • No specific training is required.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a shared environment.
Technical Proficiency
  • Familiarity with MS Excel, MS Word, and general computer skills, including smart devices.
Experience
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in sales and/or marketing is preferred, but not required. Equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of educational requirements.
Compensation and Benefits
During the training phase, the hourly wage is $14.00, plus commissions and bonuses. Following training, compensation will align with the state's minimum wage, in addition to commissions and bonuses.
