We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at HCA Florida Trinity Hospital. As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of critically ill patients.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding medications, treatments, and self-care.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
- Current Florida Registered Nurse licensure.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting, preferably in the ICU.
- Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification within 6 months of hire/transfer.
- Current NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification within 6 months of hire/transfer.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
