As a vital member of our healthcare team at NEXT Oncology, you will be responsible for conducting essential laboratory tests that assist in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. Your role will encompass the following responsibilities:

  • Test Execution: Carry out a variety of laboratory tests under the guidance of healthcare professionals to ensure accurate results.
  • Specimen Analysis: Analyze biological specimens meticulously while adhering to quality control standards.
  • Laboratory Testing: Perform diverse tests including Chemistry, Hematology, and Urinalysis to support patient care.
  • Sample Preparation: Prepare peripheral blood smears and process samples for further testing.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and ensure an adequate supply of materials.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Uphold laboratory protocols and regulatory standards to guarantee safety and accuracy.
  • Confidentiality: Safeguard patient information and ensure privacy in all laboratory operations.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) or related field.
  • ASCP certification is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Preferred experience in Hematology, Core Laboratory operations, and Phlebotomy.
  • Strong skills in equipment maintenance and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication abilities and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
