Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage all aspects of transportation projects, including coordination with engineers and project delivery teams.
  • Establish and maintain client relationships, participate in marketing and proposal development, and handle contractual matters.
  • Participate in reviews with governing agencies for code compliance and conduct work sessions for design development and contract documents.
  • Coordinate workload throughout project development and ensure completion of deliverables on schedule.
  • Track and manage project budgets and proficiency in utilizing software applications such as MicroStation, Open Roads, and Civil-3D.
  • Mentor staff and provide guidance on project management and quality control.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in transportation engineering or a related field.
  • Bachelor of Science in a related field (Master's preferred).
  • PE licensure or Professional Surveyors License.
  • WVDOT Transportation Engineering Technician Certification (TRETCNO) a plus.
  • Experience with WVDOH, AML, and USACE required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a positive attitude and good work ethic.
