Job Summary

CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team as a District Support Pharmacist PT. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the management of our pharmacies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Safety: Ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medications, adhering to regulatory requirements and CVS Health's policies and procedures.
  • Pharmacy Professional Practice: Provide expert clinical guidance and support to patients, caregivers, and colleagues, promoting evidence-based practice and quality care.
  • Regulatory Requirements: Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and guidelines, ensuring compliance and maintaining the highest standards of pharmacy practice.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of solutions.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to patient and customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Personnel Management: Supervise and develop the skills of pharmacy technicians, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Manage pharmacy inventory, ensuring accurate ordering, storage, and dispensing of medications.
  • Financial Profitability: Contribute to the financial success of the pharmacy, optimizing revenue streams and controlling costs.
  • Loss Prevention: Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the security of pharmacy assets and minimizing losses.
  • Workflow Management: Streamline pharmacy operations, improving efficiency and productivity while maintaining high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Active Pharmacy License: Hold a current and active pharmacy license in the state where employed.
  • Immunization Certification: Possess immunization certification through an accredited organization.
  • Background Check: Pass a background check, including a review of any pending felony charges or convictions related to controlled substances.
