Key Responsibilities:

  • Pharmacy Professional Practice: Lead by example, demonstrating empathy and compassion for patients, customers, and colleagues.
  • Regulatory Requirements: Stay up-to-date on changing regulations and ensure compliance in all aspects of pharmacy operations.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to implement quality improvement initiatives and maintain high standards of care.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to patients and customers, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Personnel Management: Motivate and develop your Pharmacy Support Staff, balancing assignments to maximize their strengths and address development opportunities.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the management of pharmacy inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and efficient use of resources.
  • Financial Profitability: Contribute to the development of solutions to drive growth and improve performance in your pharmacy.
  • Loss Prevention: Identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring the security of pharmacy assets and sensitive information.
  • Workflow Management: Adapt to changing circumstances and adjust plans to thrive in a dynamic community healthcare setting.
Requirements:
  • Active Pharmacy License: Hold a current and active pharmacy license in the state where you're employed.
  • Immunization Certification: Possess immunization certification through an accredited organization.
  • Background Check: Be free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
