At CoreCivic, we prioritize the well-being of our residents and staff. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care in an institutional setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply nursing skills to assess and treat residents with illnesses or injuries.
  • Attend sick call with the physician to examine residents and prepare a list of those to be seen.
  • Examine and assess new residents with illnesses or injuries, referring them to the emergency room or other healthcare facilities as needed.
  • Perform emergency procedures and notify the Licensed Independent Provider for treatment orders.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to nursing staff and non-licensed medical staff.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited college or university with a degree in nursing.
  • Current licensure in the state of employment.
  • One year of professional nursing experience preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required.

Minimum Age Requirement: Must be at least 20 years of age. CoreCivic is a Drug-Free Workplace & EOE including Disability/Veteran.
