Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Spacecraft Assembly Lead to oversee the build process for spacecraft and satellite systems.

Main Responsibilities
  • Build Process Oversight: Lead and manage the assembly, integration, and preparation of spacecraft and satellite systems for testing and deployment.
  • Process Execution: Develop and execute build procedures to ensure accurate and efficient assembly of components and systems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to align build activities with project requirements and timelines.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues encountered during the build process, implementing corrective actions and coordinating with cross-functional teams as needed.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of build processes, including assembly procedures, quality checks, and any deviations or issues encountered.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a build or assembly engineering role, with a strong understanding of assembly and integration processes for complex systems.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with build tools and equipment, strong knowledge of assembly and integration techniques.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues during the build process.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in the assembly and integration of components and systems.
  • Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in build engineering, with significant experience in aerospace or high-tech industries.
  • Advanced Skills: Expertise in advanced assembly and integration techniques, including experience with high-precision or mission-critical systems.
