The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace engineering, with experience in team leadership, technical skills, and problem-solving.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and ensuring they effectively support mission objectives.
- Assembly and Integration: Oversee the assembly and integration of mechanical, electrical, and software components, ensuring compliance with specifications and requirements.
- Testing and Validation: Plan and execute comprehensive testing procedures to ensure systems meet performance, reliability, and safety standards.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and troubleshoot issues during assembly, integration, and testing phases, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of assembly, integration, and testing processes, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with design engineers, systems engineers, and project managers to ensure successful integration and testing of systems.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in assembly, integration, and testing of spacecraft or satellite systems, with a proven track record of leading AIT activities.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of AIT processes, including mechanical assembly, electrical integration, and system testing.
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with experience in guiding and mentoring engineering teams.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Salary Range: $130,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
