Position Overview: Under general supervision, you will prepare a variety of food items using kitchen equipment and utensils according to established recipes to fulfill guest orders while adhering to company policies and procedures. You will maintain a clean and organized food preparation area, deliver food, and assist guests as necessary. A high standard of integrity, service, and hospitality is expected at all times to promote the Drury culture among customers and colleagues. You should possess general knowledge of the hotel, local area, and events to effectively respond to inquiries.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English and communicate clearly.
  • Proficiency in operating kitchen equipment and machines, including POS software and dishwashers.
  • Effective communication skills with customers and team members, including the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
  • Ability to support bartenders without preparing or serving alcoholic beverages.
  • Capability to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
  • Ability to navigate efficiently within the kitchen and bar environment.
