Position Details

This is a full-time position with the potential for permanent employment. Candidates must have reliable transportation, as the work locations are not accessible via public transit.

The work schedule consists of Monday to Friday, starting early in the morning and continuing until the daily routes are completed, which typically lasts between 10 to 12 hours, providing ample opportunities for overtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect refuse and recyclables from residential and commercial properties.
  • Manually load materials into collection vehicles.
  • Return trash receptacles to their designated locations.
  • Gather yard waste and other organic refuse.
  • Assist drivers in transporting waste to disposal sites.
  • Lift and empty waste containers into collection trucks.
  • Utilize hydraulic lifts for dumpster operations.
  • Operate semi-automated waste collection equipment.
Requirements

Physical Demands: Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday.

Experience: Previous experience in waste collection or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Work Environment

This position requires in-person attendance and involves outdoor work in various weather conditions.
