Longwood Gardens, one of the premier horticultural attractions, is dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all visitors. We are currently seeking part-time Public Safety Officers who are committed to excellence in customer service and safety management.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety and security.
- Monitor and secure buildings and entry points.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and incidents.
- Document incidents through detailed reports.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Familiarity with fire and intrusion alarm systems.
- Experience with CCTV monitoring.
- Basic proficiency in computer operations.
- The ability to maintain composure in emergency situations.
- A valid driver's license.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work in diverse weather conditions.
This position requires flexibility, with a minimum commitment of three shifts per week, including weekends, evenings, and some holidays.
