About the Opportunity
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Palliative Care Physician to join our team at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center. The successful candidate will work closely with other physicians, clinicians, and health professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide palliative care services to patients with serious illnesses, focusing on symptom management, pain control, and quality of life.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and advance palliative care practices.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and education programs to enhance palliative care services.
Requirements
- Board certification or eligibility in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
- Experience in palliative care or a related field, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
