Cancer Genetics Clinical Fellow

Overview:
The Department of Clinical Genetics is offering a comprehensive one-year fellowship designed for individuals who have successfully completed an accredited U.S. hematology/oncology fellowship program.
This fellowship merges the extensive resources of Fox Chase Cancer Center with those of Temple University Hospital, providing a unique opportunity for professional growth.
Training Components:
Fellows will engage in intensive clinical and research training at Fox Chase, which encompasses a wide array of genetic syndromes, tumor genetic testing and interpretation, test selection, counseling training, medical management, and post-test decision-making.
Research Opportunities:
Fellows will be mentored in research activities that include formulating a research question, writing protocols, recruiting subjects, analyzing data, and reporting results. This experience will be enhanced by access to world-class oncology and clinical cancer genetics expertise, alongside the academic, clinical, and research resources available at Temple University Hospital.
Educational Requirements:
Doctorate Degree:
MD or DO (Required)
Experience:
Completion of an ACGME accredited U.S. Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program (Required)
Licenses/Certifications:
MD-LIC - PA Medical Physician License (Required)
