Job Summary:

Tiny Steps Learning Center is seeking dedicated On-Call Teacher Assistants to provide support to Lead Teachers and classroom staff on an as-needed basis. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive learning environment and ensuring the well-being of our students.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily activities, physical caregiving, and developmental assessments
  • Support the curricular plan and classroom activities
  • Build supportive relationships with staff, parents, and students
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in early childhood education preferred
  • Associate Degree in Education or current CDA certification (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of child development and educational methods
  • Excellent time management, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Bilingual English & Spanish preferred
  • Able to lift up to 45 pounds multiple times per day
  • Willingness to submit to background checks
  • CPR, First Aid, and Blood Borne Pathogen certification or ability to obtain upon hire
  • Flexible availability to work on an on-call basis
