Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the efficient dispensing of prescriptions. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and ensure adherence to approved protocols.
  • Monitor patients' medication therapy and provide accurate information to patients and healthcare providers.
  • Supervise and direct pharmacy technicians in the execution of technical functions.
  • Assist in cash control and maintain accurate records in accordance with departmental procedures.
  • Verify prescriptions and ensure proper labeling of medications.
  • Ensure that only authorized personnel dispense medications and maintain a safe and organized pharmacy environment.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and participate in ongoing staff training and development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the pharmacy director.

Requirements:

  • Current Oklahoma Pharmacy license as a Registered Pharmacist.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
