KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to the formulation of bidding strategies that enhance the company's competitive edge while planning, coordinating, and overseeing projects.
  • Support corporate and project management in identifying suitable projects for bidding, along with developing effective strategies and techniques.
  • Review final estimate packages to ensure precision and thoroughness before formal submission.
  • Engage in negotiations and clarify contract terms and conditions as necessary.
  • Participate in presentations directed at management and clients.
  • Provide technical support in pricing contracts, change orders, and other related inquiries as needed.
  • Assist in the creation of studies, material recommendations, and cost estimates as required.
  • Act as the primary estimator for large or intricate estimates and proposals.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
    • Equivalent combinations of technical training and/or relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Five (5) years of comprehensive construction experience, which may include trade or project management, demonstrating strong organizational, supervisory, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Two (2) or more years of experience in estimating or proposal development for similar construction projects.
  • Experience in estimating for vertical construction, concrete, and related activities.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
Preferred
  • Knowledge of vertical construction processes, including foundation concrete, structural steel, roofing, and wall systems.
  • Advanced management or technical training.
