Independent Veterans Disability Assessor

About the Role
We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join our team as an Independent Contractor, performing medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
In this role, you will review behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal and conduct comprehensive assessments in person with each Veteran. You will also complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal.
As an Independent Assessor, your primary responsibility is to gather and record accurate information about each Veteran's condition. The U.S. Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations, using the findings recorded in the DBQs.
This is an IN-PERSON position, requiring you to assess 4 Veterans per day. Your work schedule will be 2 days a week, from 8 am to 5 pm.
Requirements
- You must hold a Ph.D. or Psy.D. degree from an APA-accredited program/school.
- Your active and unrestricted Psychology license meets the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.

Compensation
As an experienced Licensed Psychologist, your estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000-$150,000, depending on your qualifications and experience. This figure takes into account the location and the level of expertise required for this position.
