Responsibilities

As an HVAC Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing support on HVAC construction projects by reading and interpreting blueprints
  • Laying out roof penetrations and ducting, and sheet metal fittings as directed by the foreman
  • Assisting the construction foreman as needed on the job
  • Coordinating and following job schedules, including labor hours and material costs
  • Performing other related duties and projects as assigned by management
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • HVAC sheet metal installation knowledge
  • Knowledge of sheet metal installation and piping of commercial HVAC units
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing plans
  • Ability to hang evaporation coils and install overhead hangers
  • Knowledge of jobsite safety and ability to oversee work activities to ensure safe work practices
