Job Title: Payroll Specialist

Huntington University seeks a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation and processing of student payroll and faculty/staff payroll functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll transactions in a timely and accurate manner
  • Assist with accounts payable and general ledger functions as needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees and management
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with employees and management
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or accounting preferred
  • Associate's degree in business or accounting or 2 years of equivalent work experience required
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel is necessary
  • Experience in payroll software is desired
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Positive interpersonal skills and a team player
