As a SGRE Maintenance Certified Travel Wind Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our nation's wireless and wireline telecom, commercial and utility-scale solar and wind projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct routine maintenance of equipment, including fueling and lubrication.
- Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally, adhering to company policies and insurance requirements.
- Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Complete and maintain required company and client documentation and records using computer-based service reporting tools and procedures.
- Perform other daily work requirements as directed by supervisor with general supervision.
- SGRE qualified training profile.
- SGTT trained.
- SGRE Maintenance Technician certification.
- GWO certification preferred.
- Ability to work within confined space areas, such as inside a wind turbine nacelle.
- Ability to meet customer and company standards required of position and job, including following project schedules.
At Pearce Services, safety is our top priority. Candidates must be able to comply with OSHA/DOT Standards.
- Ability and willingness to climb a wind turbine vertically at least 300 feet.
- Maintain a weight between 120 and 280 pounds, including clothing and boots, for OSHA safety compliance.
- Lift and move equipment as needed (more than 50 pounds).
- Work in an indoor or outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions with blowing pollen, dust, and grasses.
