Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years in mechanical contracting or data center project management
  • Proven experience in leading projects, managing schedules, budgets, and teams
  • Comprehensive understanding of mechanical construction practices and standards
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in the field
  • Background as a pipefitting superintendent with relevant mechanical contracting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Science Management or Business Management

Job Overview:

Analysis & Planning:

Assess manufacturing workflows, validate financial projections, and identify new project prospects.

Management:

Direct site teams, oversee project profitability, negotiate agreements, and ensure effective project delivery.

Quality Assurance:

Establish project objectives, implement risk management strategies, and maintain documentation for quality assurance.

Support:

Assist in budgeting, strategic planning, and procurement processes for projects.

Performance Monitoring:

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), manage revenue streams, and adapt strategies to meet organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage assigned site teams effectively
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors
  • Oversee overall profitability of assigned projects
  • Track KPIs throughout project lifecycles and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Set clear project goals at the outset, focusing on profitability, manufacturing targets, cash flow, and client satisfaction
  • Guide the development and execution of on-site plans throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support all phases of the project procurement process, including contract and scope reviews, risk assessments, and preparation for interviews
  • Ensure comprehensive pre-planning and risk mitigation workflows are executed for all projects
