We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Space Threat System Modeling and Simulation Expert to join our team at Ignite. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced space system threat assessments and modeling techniques to support our government clients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain complex space system threat models and simulations to support current and future US space and terrestrial architectures.
- Generate and analyze space and weapons system models in various coding frameworks and languages to inform decision-making.
- Support cross-domain threat system studies and wargames to identify and mitigate potential threats to US space systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement space system threat assessments and modeling techniques.
- Develop and deliver technical briefings and reports to stakeholders on space system threat assessments and modeling results.
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field; Master's Degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in space system engineering, all-source intelligence, or a related field.
- Proficiency in multiple modeling and simulation tools, including MATLAB, STK, and AFSIM.
- Experience with current all-source analytical techniques, theory, methodologies, processes, and trends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Advanced degree in a STEM field.
- Familiarity with SysML and space systems modeling and simulation.
- Experience with the Intelligence Community threat assessment process and its organizations.
- Space Systems Command (SSC) or National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) space system engineering experience.
Security Clearance: Top Secret with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented.
