Job Overview

RadNet is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented MRI Technical Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our radiology team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately record patient medical history and MRI safety information in patient charts and electronic medical records.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient communication during exams.
  • Collaborate with MRI technologists to prepare, position, and monitor patients in the MRI suite.
  • Ensure timely and efficient stock and maintenance of supplies for assigned areas.
  • Comply with all HIPAA guidelines, safety protocols, and laboratory/clinical environment guidelines.
  • Organize and assist patient flow throughout the facility.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of imaging center staff.
  • Support technologists with procedures, including coil setup, maintenance, and clean-up of the MRI suite.
  • Identify and communicate important issues or problems to MRI technologists and management.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant MRI control room space.
  • Attend and participate in meetings, seminars, and training as required.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and practices.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a medical setting.
  • Proficient medical terminology knowledge.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Excellent public relations, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and handle multiple assignments.
  • BLS/CPR Certification.
