Distinguished Oral Surgeon for Military Healthcare

We are seeking a highly skilled Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our team at the US ARMY - 5th Medical Recruiting Battalion. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide top-notch medical care to our service members and their families.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in examining, diagnosing, and treating conditions related to the head, mouth, teeth, gums, jaw, or neck. You will also conduct research on diseases of military importance and train personnel in your field.
In addition to your clinical skills, you will play a vital role in managing programs that support health and disease prevention within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Examine and diagnose patients with conditions related to the head, mouth, teeth, gums, jaw, or neck.
- Provide surgical and nonsurgical care to patients, including procedures such as extractions, biopsies, and reconstructive surgery.
- Conduct research on diseases of military importance and publish findings in reputable scientific journals.
- Train personnel in oral and maxillofacial surgery techniques and procedures.
- Manage programs that support health and disease prevention within our organization.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Licensure to practice medicine in any state.
- Board certification in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
- At least 2 years of experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery, preferably in a military or academic setting.
