About Us:

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Healthcare Billing Specialist. We are seeking a meticulous professional to manage medical claims and coding for our thriving office. This position is ideal for individuals proficient in ICD-10 and CPT coding, with a solid understanding of various insurance plans including Medicare, Medi-Cal, PPO, and HMO.

What We Offer:
  • Starting Rate: $21-$22/hr.

Location:
  • Training will take place in a designated area, followed by work at our main office.

Schedule:
  • Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurate coding of surgical and evaluation & management services
  • Timely submission of claims and diligent payment tracking
  • Proactive follow-up on claims and management of appeals

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in medical billing and coding
  • Strong familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding systems
  • Certification in medical coding is preferred but not mandatory
  • Experience with a variety of insurance plans including Medicare and Medi-Cal
