Phlebotomist II Float Part-Time

Overview:

This role requires a state phlebotomy license. We do not accept NHA licenses in CA, WA, NV.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Phlebotomist II Float Part-Time to join our team in Oxnard, CA. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients and preparing them for lab testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect blood samples from patients and prepare them for lab testing
  • Enter billing information and collect payment when required
  • Coach, mentor, instruct, and be a resource advisor for new employees
  • Travel to additional doctors' office or Patient Service Center sites when needed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred in California, Nevada, and Washington
  • Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
