About the Role

Careers@Gov is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Director to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our IT security strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain common standards, methodologies, and best practices for security management to ensure IT systems are designed with due considerations for security.
  • Provide consultancy and advice on IT security architecture and design considerations to IT project teams.
  • Lead in the design and implementation of IT security platforms and their associated software.
  • Perform security review of IT systems and identify gaps in security architecture.
  • Ensure security best practices and compliance standards are implemented on servers and end-points.

Requirements

  • Background in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 8 or more years of working experience in IT Security.
  • Relevant certifications in networking or cyber security, e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA preferred.
  • Experience in defining security architectural principles and policy.
  • Experience in emerging technologies to design and implement security solutions for both enterprise and cloud environments.
