Overview:
The AM Breakfast Cook II plays a vital role in the culinary team, utilizing the kitchen manual to follow recipe guidelines and preparation techniques effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize the kitchen manual for recipe adherence and preparation methods.
- Ensure safe and proper equipment usage at all times.
- Maintain a focus on minimizing waste.
- Practice sanitation and stock rotation, ensuring cleanliness in all work areas.
- Demonstrate efficient food production while preparing cold food items according to established recipes.
- Monitor the taste and visual presentation of food items.
- Perform duties on cold entree lines and assist with food preparation as needed.
- Label, date, store, and rotate products while managing stock levels effectively.
- Communicate with the Outlet Manager regarding storeroom requisitions for necessary products.
- Prepare food according to recipes, including cutting, trimming, and boning meats and poultry.
- Participate in pre-shift meetings to review daily food production tasks.
- Adhere to Company Standards of Service as outlined for AURO Hotels.
- Project a positive image of AURO Hotels to the public consistently.
- Complete all duties in a timely and efficient manner, in line with company policies and procedures.
- Treat guests, vendors, customers, and co-workers with professionalism and respect.
- Engage in departmental and brand standards training as assigned.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.
- Be flexible with work hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Follow all health and sanitation regulations as mandated by AURO, the brand, and local authorities.
