Job Summary

CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Nurse Practitioner with CVS Health, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients in a fast-paced retail healthcare environment.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role. You will be responsible for providing primary and family evidenced-based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients. You will also be responsible for performing administrative duties, such as opening and closing the clinic, inventory management, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, and collecting payment.

Responsibilities

Provide primary and family evidenced-based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients.
     Perform administrative duties, such as opening and closing the clinic, inventory management, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, and collecting payment.
     Order and administer immunizations and injections, including COVID-19, influenza, TB, and Depo, and provide evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.
     Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
     Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires.
     Provide holistic, evidenced-based care, including education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infection (STI) prevention, and safer sex practices.

Requirements

Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
     Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
     Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
     Ability to be proficient in both speaking and writing in additional languages, such as Spanish, depending on the market.
