Job Summary

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying individuals entering the hospital, regulating crowds, directing traffic, and maintaining law and order throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Protect Patients and Staff: Safeguard patients, staff, and visitors from harm, ensuring a safe and secure environment.
  • Regulate Access: Identify individuals entering the hospital, verifying their identity and purpose.
  • Manage Crowds and Traffic: Regulate crowds, direct traffic, and maintain order throughout the hospital.
  • Enforce Policies: Ensure all hospital and departmental policies are adhered to, promoting a culture of compliance and excellence.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring the satisfaction of patients, staff, and visitors.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid New York State Driver's License, New York State Security License, FDNY Certificate of Fitness (FO1 - Fire Guard), and Active New York State Security Guard Certification.
  • Skills: Ability to write clear and concise reports, perform basic computer operations, lift up to 25lbs, and stand for extended periods.
