Caregiver Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Caregiver Lead to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our residents, while also leading and mentoring our care staff.

• Provide supervisory support to care staff, ensuring that residents receive high-quality care and services.
• Support care staff in providing Activities of Daily Living (ADL) care and services to residents, including bathing, grooming, and personal care.
• Encourage resident participation in life enrichment programming and ADLs, promoting a sense of community and engagement.
• Assist with meal service and coach care staff on hospitality standards.
• Accurately document care and services provided to residents, ensuring compliance with Sunrise's policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Sunrise's Timekeeping and Meal/Rest Period policies, monitoring care staff break schedules and clocking in/out.
• Display flexibility in work schedule, working holidays, evenings, weekends, and additional shifts as needed.

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with care staff, community managers, residents, and family members.
• Medication Management Certificate required, with ongoing training and re-education per Sunrise and state requirements.
• Previous experience working with seniors and a desire to serve and care for seniors.
• Demonstrated leadership competencies, including the ability to delegate assignments and make choices in the best interest of residents.
