We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Information Technology Intern to join our team at Texas Instruments. As an IT Solutions Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the infrastructure that drives business growth, agility, innovation, process excellence, customer experience, and global reach for TI.

The IT Solutions organization is strategically positioned to be the engine for TI's growth, supporting the company's applications and technology infrastructure for critical design, sales, manufacturing, finance, operations, and security functions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to broaden your perspective and learn about the IT organizations and cultures, building a strong network and developing cross-functional skills. You will gain exposure to various IT roles through meaningful assignments, which will provide you with real-world experience.

As an IT Infrastructure Intern at TI, you will have the opportunity to gain experience through different functions across IT, including Site Reliability Engineering, Network Engineering, System Administration, and Mainframe Specialization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage software engineering principles and technologies to implement solutions that improve the reliability, efficiency, and scalability of our infrastructure services.
  • Responsible for fortifying our network infrastructure to ensure its resilience, security, and optimal performance.
  • Design, implement, secure, and maintain server, database, client, and application solutions.
  • Provision, test, and support TI's Mainframe Applications/Utilities and make needed enhancements to IBM products via user exits and In-line modifications.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Data Engineering, AI, Machine Learning, and Software Engineering.
  • Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher.
  • Basic understanding of web development, programming (C, C++, Java, Perl, Python, R, SQL), and scripting.
  • Basic understanding of Networks, Operating Systems (Windows, Unix), and Databases.

  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery.
