Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to join our team at Real Time Resolutions. As a Legal Intern, you will assist in various legal and compliance tasks, including computerized legal research, document review, and special projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct computerized legal research and writing, document review, and assist with special projects.
  • Work in the Compliance department, focusing on achieving strategic and operational objectives.
  • Review and consolidate information for Beneficial Ownership Interest (BOI) reporting under the corporate transparency act.
  • Extract data from online databases, contact companies to verify account and/or property information, and respond to borrower inquiries and disputes.
  • Report and input research results into Real Time's servicing system.
  • Review required disclosures for all states.
Requirements
  • Must be enrolled in 12+ hours of undergraduate coursework or 6+ hours of graduate coursework.
  • Current enrollment in a Law - Juris Doctor program with a 3.0 GPA or higher required.
  • Excellent communication and technical skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Good attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Work Environment

This is a hybrid position, splitting time between a professional office environment and a remote home office setup. The ideal candidate will be able to maintain high productivity and consistent communication standards in both environments.

Physical Demands
  • Regular use of a clear, articulate, and professional speaking voice for effective customer communication.
  • Prolonged sedentary work, with comfort with prolonged sitting and screen use.
  • Frequent use of hands and wrists for typing and navigating computer systems.
  • Occasional lifting of office supplies up to 20 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is an internship position, with extended work hours and/or overtime possible as dictated and/or approved by management and business needs.
