About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at GPAC. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the estimation process from project initiation to completion, collaborating with business development, project managers, engineers, developers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and develop accurate cost estimates.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the estimation process from project initiation to completion, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of cost estimates.
  2. Collaborate with business development, project managers, engineers, developers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and develop cost estimates.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
  4. Provide leadership and guidance to the estimation team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  5. Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, maintaining high standards of professionalism and integrity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in estimating, project management, or related roles within the construction industry, with specific experience in building demolition and asbestos remediation projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing estimation projects, delivering accurate cost estimates, and winning competitive bids.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to effectively assess risks and develop solutions.
  • Advanced proficiency in various estimating software.
  • Leadership experience, including the ability to mentor and develop team members, detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, and foster a positive and productive work environment.

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, based on experience.
