Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Novant Health Neurology & Sleep clinic. As an Ambulatory Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a collaborative healthcare team.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working Monday through Thursday from 8am to 5pm and Friday from 8am to 12 noon. The successful candidate will have a strong background in neurology and sleep medicine, with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and support. As a Registered Nurse in our Ambulatory Care department, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized plans of care that promote optimal health or support a peaceful death. You will work closely with physicians and other team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse in our Ambulatory Care department, you will be responsible for:
  • Delivering high-quality patient care and support
  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized plans of care
  • Collaborating with physicians and other team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction
  • Participating in ongoing education and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need:
  • A current RN license in the appropriate state
  • Experience in neurology and sleep medicine, preferred
  • Education: BSN; If your license has been inactive, retired, or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state, successful completion of a Board-approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license
