Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Staff Pharmacist to join our team in the Investigational Drug Services, Oncology department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical programs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients in the oncology outpatient setting, including medication therapy management and patient education.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of clinical programs and protocols to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.
  • Conduct medication use evaluations and provide recommendations for formulary management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and stakeholders to promote the use of evidence-based practices.
Requirements
  • PharmD degree from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy.
  • 1 year of experience in a hospital setting, with a preference for oncology experience.
  • Eligibility for licensure by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) and a Texas license within 30 days of hire.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
  • Sterile compounding (IV) certification accredited by ACPE.
