Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Leader to spearhead the quality initiatives within our mission-driven organization. The Senior Vice President of Quality Assurance will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for leading and managing all critical quality aspects across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Leadership and Culture: Cultivate and enhance a quality-centric culture throughout IAVI, aligning quality objectives with organizational strategy and values.
  • Strategic Development: Formulate and implement short and long-term quality goals and policies that resonate with the organization's business plans.
  • Quality Management System (QMS): Ensure the QMS is robust, effective, and continuously improved, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Compliance Oversight: Guarantee compliance with regulatory standards and provide guidance during inspections, ensuring timely corrective actions are taken.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor the quality team, fostering professional growth and ensuring alignment with organizational needs.

Qualifications:

  • BS in a relevant scientific field; advanced degrees (MS or PhD) are preferred.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in quality roles within the pharmaceutical or biotech sectors, with at least 10 years in leadership positions.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing quality management systems and leading significant quality initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and collaboration skills, with experience in managing diverse, outsourced teams.
