This position is responsible for obtaining diagnostic cardiac ultrasound images in three modes: M mode, color flow Doppler, and two-dimensional mode. The ideal candidate will be registered by the ARDMS or CCI or an equivalent registry and have a strong knowledge of diagnostic echocardiography techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain diagnostic cardiac ultrasound images in three modes
  • Follow imaging protocol recommended by IACEL
  • Assist physicians with obtaining images during Transesophageal Echo's
  • Prioritize and organize patient flow to ensure best utilization of time
  • Demonstrate effective safety practices
  • Establish and maintain a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, and Medical Staff
Requirements
  • Registered by the ARDMS or CCI or an equivalent registry
  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic echocardiography techniques
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Associate Degree or Certificate
