Elementary Disabilities Classroom Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to support students with diverse learning and behavioral needs in an elementary disabilities classroom at Soliant Education. This full-time position involves working under the guidance of a certified teacher or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.
Job DescriptionSchool Paraprofessional Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 or small-group support to students in the classroom, focusing on academic and social skills development.
- Assist in delivering instructional programs, including ABA techniques and behavioral interventions.
- Support students with daily activities, such as academics, communication, and social skills training.
- Maintain a safe and structured learning environment that promotes student growth and well-being.
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and other staff to meet student goals and objectives.
- Collect and document data on student progress and behaviors, using this information to inform instruction and make data-driven decisions.
- Previous experience working in a classroom setting, preferably with students with disabilities.
- Knowledge of and experience with ABA practices is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or higher preferred).
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, communicating with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve common goals.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Estimated Salary Range: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
