Radiology Imaging Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in radiologic imaging and a proven track record of providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Position patients and adjust equipment for taking x-rays, following established procedures
- Instruct patients regarding procedures
- Examine radiologic film for properties such as density and contrast, definition, magnification and distortion
- Develop and process radiologic film
- Maintain x-ray exam room and stock necessary medical and radiological supplies
- Clean and make minor adjustments to radiologic equipment
- Responsible for routine maintenance and vendor notification of failures
- Responsible for dissemination of x-ray reports and x-rays, maintaining a location log
- Schedule radiologic exams to be performed at outside labs, as necessary
- Gather and prepare x-rays with physician interpretation for radiologist over read
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree: Completion of accredited radiology program
- SCRQSA license RSQA - RAD QUALITY STANDARD
- American Registry for Radiology Technologists (ARRT) certification for Radiology
Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
