Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team at The Toro Company. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all Federal, State, Local, and Corporate Health and Safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety incident prevention programs
- Administer mandated programs, including hearing conservation, safety eye wear, machine guarding, bloodborne pathogens, respiratory protection, hazard communications, and personal protective equipment
- Assure timely and accurate reporting of health and safety requirements
- Engage leadership across the organization to drive safety and health excellence
- Lead the continuation of Job Safety Analysis throughout our facilities
- Provide pertinent data for daily, weekly, and monthly safety scorecards
- Train employees on company safety policies and procedures
- Assist in new hire orientation and hazard identification training
- Provide injury management support and coordinate onsite medical management
- Support site management during incident investigations and implement effective countermeasures
- Review facility procedures and amend as required to keep company compliant with changing regulations
- Bachelor's degree in EHS sciences, Engineering, or Engineering Technology
- ~7+ years leading and building comprehensive safety programs with evidence of continuous improvement
- Strong manufacturing business acumen with familiarity in manufacturing and material handling
- Ability to conceive, develop, and execute EHS related projects within a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of delivering direct health and safety training
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
