Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Support Specialist to join our team in the Orthopedic Unit at Ascension Providence. This role will provide essential support to patients and nursing staff, ensuring a positive patient experience.

About the Role

In this position, you will perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision. Your responsibilities will include aiding with entry and exit of patients, assisting with personal care and activities of daily living, reporting findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff, documenting necessary records, and maintaining patient rooms and medical equipment.

Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date required from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is $43,000 - $53,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
